Caught in the act...

I was just working on Relief Society stuff and turned around to find this. (yes, they were right behind my desk, I was really preoccupied) So I jumped at the opportunity to use my new camera lens.

There really never is a dull moment around here. On a side note, Logan started kindergarten yesterday. On the ride home I asked him how it was and he said, "I am so big now I feel like a teenager. I think maybe I am a teenager."

And last but not least, I found this on my computer today and had to share. Zach, my lil bro took this picture with fat booth on his iphone. If I get my hands on everyone else's photos I will share them as well. They are all pretty hilarious. This one kills me. Not only the dumbfounded look on his face, but his huge head compared to his tiny body. Dylan's was pretty funny too, she decided to go cross eyed when Zach took it.

Monday's funny

I poured Dylan a glass of water at the dinner table last night and sat it in front of her.

Dylan: I don't want water.
Dad: It's not for you, you don't get water.
Dylan: Well, I don't want water-I want milk.
Dad: You don't get water so don't drink that.
Dylan: Dipping her finger in the water, "well whose is this?"
Dad: Not yours, so please don't touch it, and don't drink it, you don't get water.
Dylan: I want water, where is mine?
Dad: You can have the glass in front of you.

She drank the whole glass.

We took these pictures right before Christmas last year. I forgot about them and just came across them this morning. If you tape a piece of tape from your nose to your forehead it totally distorts your whole face. We did this as the activity for FHE. It was a riot. We all got a good kick out of it.

Sunday funny.

Dylan kept tooting, so I asked her why she was making so much noise. She said she had the hiccup toots.

Today's Funnies.

Have you heard of planking? I put Dylan down for a nap and she was having a hard time going to sleep. She kept getting in and out of bed. A few minutes into it I checked on her to find her asleep like this.

Dylan just said her bedtime prayer. And this is how it went...

I am hopeful for my mom and dad.
I am hopeful for my friends.
I am hopeful for my uncles.
I am hopeful for my aunt Mikah.
I am hopeful for somebody.

Amen.

Funnies...

Dylan: I want a Peanut butter and sandwich.

Logan on Easter morning: Dylan, did you get an ipod?

We have 2 neighbors named Jim. One is around 65, and one is 40. Logan refers to them as old Jim and new Jim.

Dylan on the potty: Mom, close the door so no-one will see my man parts.

Logan helping Dylan make a phone call on her new barbie phone: Push 3, 2, sparkle *, sparkle *, send.

Dylan had a few dollars she was getting ready to deposit in the bank. She showed them to me and said "These are my filthy dollars."

Logan devouring dinner: Mom, what is this chicken made out of like fish or what?

I was jogging with the double stroller and Logan was riding his scooter along side and said "mom, do you know that sometimes when you don't look pretty I still say you do?"

Keith turned out all the lights as we were all heading upstairs to go to bed, and as soon as he turned off the last light Logan yelled "Hey, where am I?"

Logan: Mom will you sing us a Love-a-bye?

Dylan: I want to grow up to be a girl Dad.

Dylan: Farts and says excuse me.
Me: Thank you for using your manners.
Dylan: I didn't use my manners, I used my bum to toot.

Dylan praying: Thank you for this day, please bless the food but there is no food... (it was her bedtime prayer)

Dylan: The Holy Ghost is scary, I don't like ghosts.
Logan: Dyl, the Holy Ghost is not scary, he is in your heart.
Dylan: How do I get the Holy Ghost out of my heart? Do I have to cut open my chest?

I was reading Logan and Dylan a book. They were sitting on their beds and I was holding the book away from me towards them. It was directly in front of Dylan. I read a couple pages and she angrily said, "Mom, I can't see." I asked her how she couldn't see because the book was right in front of her and she said, "I was looking at my kitchen."

Logan: Why am I so smart?

Logan: Mom I am getting so big, I think I am getting hair in my armpits.

What's funny today?

This is something I have wanted to do forever, so I have been saving up! Instead of blogging only on the updates of our family life, I wanted to just do quick posts on what was funny that day. The more I have thought about the idea, the better my days have gone because really...everything is funny when you have a 5, 3, and almost 1 year old.

Dylan looks like she is about to do something really mean in this picture!

I still can't believe he got them both asleep like that!
Finley's dried mango looks like a tongue.

I found her in my closet like this, she somehow climbed up in my boots.
He said he wanted to look like Dad for church.

Dylan got her way with Daddy.
He doesn't always have a double chin, mostly when he is posing for a picture.

Another chin pose:) I have so many pictures of him that look like this.

I told them to act like they loved each other so I could get a picture.

Dylan's spoon of choice for her yogurt.
